Brunch time at The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas and The Palazzo® at The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas

Lazy Las Vegas days are perfect opportunities to linger over bottomless mimosas and nibble on breakfast favorites like chicken and waffles or upscale dishes, such as foie gras with a toasted baguette. At The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas and The Palazzo® at The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas, brunch is done right with eight restaurants serving 11 different versions of eggs Benedict, a myriad of refreshing cocktails and a mid-morning vibe that fits any traveler’s personality.

No matter what kind of brunch you’re in the mood for, these all-suite resorts will have something to satisfy your taste buds.

Classic comfort food

Nothing says brunch quite like chicken and waffles, and nowhere makes them quite like Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, which mirrors grandma’s kitchen on a cozy Sunday morning. The Southern American restaurant features favorites like deviled eggs, biscuits with Virginia ham, shrimp and grits and morning quiche. You’ll also want to save room for the maple-glazed bacon doughnut.

At Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro, eggs, eggs and more eggs make up a large part of the menu. But in addition to dishes like huevos rancheros and smoked salmon Benedict, you are free to order crepes and griddle plates as well as pasta, burgers and sandwiches. There’s also a small kid’s breakfast menu that caters to those younger than 12.

While overindulgence comes easy in Las Vegas, dining at Canyon Ranch Grill is always a healthy endeavor with its spa-inspired cuisine; plus, the menu provides clear nutritional information for those who are interested. For $29, guests can choose one appetizer (yogurt sundae or arugula salad), one main course (including lobster cake Benedict and sweet potato pancakes) and a dessert.

Keep it classy

If travelers want to amp up the experience, visit award-winning French restaurant Bouchon, which offers a wide variety of pastries and main courses, with an emphasis on seafood. In addition to foie gras and caviar served alongside a morning cup of coffee, Bouchon also prepares elevated classics like brioche French toast, sourdough waffles and house-made Merguez sausage hash.

While sushi is usually not the first thing that comes to mind for brunch, the properties’ Japanese, Peruvian and Brazilian-fusion restaurant SUSHISAMBA is also in the mid-morning meal game. The menu is limited, with a couple “sweet” options (like house-made quinoa waffles) and a few “savory” ones (such as South American frittata and samba Cobb salad). The restaurant’s Brazilian-inspired brunch comes in two sizes, and is served with a stew made up of black beans, shredded pork, seared beef and carne seca with white rice and greens.

Bubbles and Bloody Marys

One of the highlights of brunch in Las Vegas is that it’s never too early for a cocktail. Buddy V’s Ristorante is a family-friendly restaurant with favorites served buffet-style, accompanied by “bottomless” libations. For $16.95, diners can choose from all-you-can-drink sangrias, mimosas, Bellinis or a selection of domestic beers or wines by the glass. Alternatively, a craft-your-own Bloody Mary or Caesar comes with unlimited refills and a souvenir glass.

From sunrise to (nearly) sunset

LAVO, The Palazzo’s restaurant/lounge/nightclub destination, offers two different brunch options, depending on seasonality. Its “proper brunch,” served every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., hits all the classics, plus some. Favorites include the blue skies pancakes (made of white polenta with fresh berries), a breakfast panini, and lobster Benedict (a one-pound lobster with poached eggs and Champagne Hollandaise).

From fall to spring, LAVO holds its famed Saturday Champagne Party Brunch, which is actually an afternoon/early evening affair. Combining brunch favorites from the food menu, plentiful Champagne and music from resident DJs, this weekly event turns the dining room into a party with confetti showers, bottle-popping presentations and weekly themes that encourage guests to dress up, dance and participate in the festivities.
